Wonderful, awesome place. This is the place all the locals know about and visitors "in the know" will visit. Small classic old fashioned ambiance. Everything made fresh and discious. All types here from visitors to local horse people with jeans and boots. Small ice cream shop type of feel, with booths and tables. We had quiche which was perfectly baked... More

We had no idea this was a triple D spot before we got here, but it's easy to see why. The food was delicious, especially the baked goods. I had the breakfast burrito (Hell-a-Rito) and my wife got the egg and sausage panini. Both were excellent, though you might ask them to go light on the cheddar mornay for the... More

Wallace station is the perfect place to stop for a great sandwich during a drive through horse country around Versailles and Midway...where the horse barns look like mansions. The only thing better than the food is chatting with the guys and gals behind the counter on a slow day!

Half of the fun with this restaurant is getting there and the other half is the great food and service! Being situated along the KY bourbon trail and surrounded by bluegrass horse farms made it a fun drive for a late lunch. We were warmly greeted and received great service throughout the experience. The facility is a bit of a... More

The lunchtime crowd told me what I needed to know during a recent visit to Bourbon country: the food is very good. There is a nice variety of somewhat unique sandwiches in a location that is off-the-beaten-track and worth making a slight detour for. The drive through the horse farms on the way there is picturesque, memorable and part of... More

The rolling hills of old frankfort pike near midway ky have a breakfast. And lunch secret. Wallace station. Good food with HUGE breakfast burritos, and good lunch offerings. Shaded multi layered decks with horseshoe pits and places that make you feel like you are in the boonies even though you are 10 minutes from the capital or lexington. The drive... More

We stopped here while visiting a few distilleries in the Lexington area. We were blown away by how good the food was. The sandwiches were so fantastic that we went back the following day for a repeat visit. An absolute must when you're in the area!

This was our first visit to Wallace Station. My burger was fantastic! Service was not bad. Atmosphere was quaint and pleasant. Overall it was a very nice change of pace from the usual and some place we would definitely visit again.

I absolutely love Wallace Station, take visitors there whenever I am in the area, and never miss a chance for a tasty meal when I am in this area of Kentucky. On this occasion I happened to be at Keeneland for the January horse sales and decided to make Wallace Station my stop for a quick informal meal. However, I... More
