Great fresh mexican food at a good price. Covered patio, great margs, ice cold beer and a cool little bar. If they had about 15 more parking spots it would be perfect

Very interesting place. We stopped for lunch and had the LARGE burritos which were okay but uneventful and unmemorable. We had 2 sodas and a water and a large side of Gauac we shared and it was $47. FOR LUNCH.

We stumbled upon this place while looking for some place that we could eat fast and relatively good without the typical deep-fry that comes with "fast" food. This place is kind of like the burrito places where you tell them what you want and it gets assembled in front of you. I had the beef fajita taco salad and it... More

Zippy's is a restaurant more well-known for its margaritas than its food. It's in a hip part of town, and is an old gas station that's been converted to a bar/restaurant. If you're looking for a cool place to grab a drink with some friends, and maybe are thinking about food, check out Zippy's.

This place is definitely hip! Great tacos and chimichangas. Good tamales as well. It's an old gas station. Garage door to the patio. Concrete floor. Cafeteria style (which seems to be the norm in this area), then seat yourself. Meals come with chips and salsa even though done fast food. Quite a few frozen daiquiri and margarita machines.

Stopped in here for dinner with the family. Quick burritos, taco's , nacho's, etc.. built the way you like it or order a standard. The staff is friendly and efficient. the prices are good and the restaurant is family and dog friendly. Can't go wrong if you are looking for something quick and easy.

If you want a pretty quick fix of Mexican food and a good price with some good atmosphere. Great for college students and did I tell you the margaritas are large and good. Not the most fancy place but a great place to hang out.

Eat like a local and get yourself over to Zippy's. If you love cheese enchiladas and enjoy customizing your order then this is the place for you. A 2 cheese enchilada plate with rice and beans and chips and salsa only 7 bucks! And they use REAL cheese not that cheap american cheese-food. Nachos are killer and the beer is... More

Average eats. Order immediately upon entering and food is brought to table. Must pay for chips and salsa. Taco was good. Quesadilla was Ok too. Good if on a budget.

Ok, so that's our pet name for them, but most mexican places have "taco tuesday" so since we dont necessarily get tacos, we just call it zippy tuesdays because it's our regular tuesday jaunt for lunch. Nothing particularly exceptional but the food is good and fresh. We enjoy sitting inside and outside under the covered patio as well.
