When you're in the Baton Rouge and want a delicious meal, Chimes is the place. From south Louisiana favorites to a hamburger, it's the best.My personal favorite is the red beans and rice, and a bowl of seafood gumbo. With amazing bread to dip it in, wow !! Now for lunch, the meat loaf is off the chain. Do I need to... More

If you are tired of the same old same old after church on Sunday, give this place a try. The food was delicious, wait staff plesant and well worth the drive from Livingston.

The Chimes is one of those college town institutions that just keeps on delivering. Great beer list (been around the world - names on the wall to prove it), great food selection and quality. Go to place when deciding where to go is to much work.

Once again the fresh oyster were nice in size and tasty. Also the red beans were good as usual. The atmosphere is always pleasant. Customer service was the best.

I have been going to the Chimes for 30 plus years. The food is still great and I am never disappointed. Parking is always tricky being that its a college restaurant and parking in general is tricky but its worth the hassle! Service very good and I look forward to my next visit soon!

This restaurant always has very good food. I like the way that they come up with a unique combination of foods for their entrees. Also, they have the best onion rings ever. the only downside is that this place is loud.

The service at The Chimes is always good. The food is down home Louisiana cookin'. The sautéed crab claws appetizer is always a must. Oysters on the grill are delicious.
