Probably one of the best meals I ever had. We started with Eggplant Pontchartrain. The taste was out of this world. Highly suggest if you like Eggplant. I got the Catfish Perdu. There was a sauce with crawfish in it, and I have never had crawfish. It was delicious. The service was good we were seated right away. (Monday night... More

While visiting from New York our hotel desk person highly recommended Perrain's on a Saturday night - reservations for groups of 10 or more on weekends we found ourselves with a 25 minute wait. Went to the bar for a drink and the barmaid offered us the chance to have our meal right then and there. Chargrilled oysters were absolutely... More

Fresh fish and seafood. Crab and corn bisque is delicious. Several fish options and all are very good. Cole slaw is creamy with peanuts. Seating both inside, bar area and outside. We have been several times and always satisfied.

Had the Delacroix. Fresh fish covered with a creole sauce and shrimp. It was out of this world. It was accompanied by garlic mashed potatoes and a fresh roll. It came with a salad with the bacon cheese ranch dressing. The service was outstanding. We will return the next time we are in Baton Rouge.

Wow! Walk in and sit at bar and immediately get treated awesome. Caught couple of happy hour beers and ordered char oysters and andouille encrusted fish (drum). The bar staff is awesome and super attentive. If food lives up to the service it will be awesome. Will rate meal separate.

Staff gave great attention to patrons and the food was excellent. A Dean at Southern University referred me to try Parrain's and I'm so glad I took his advice. Hope to go back to Baton Rouge next year and I wlll certainly go back and eat at this restaurant.

While Parrain's was not easy to get to from our hotel, it was well worth the effort! The atmosphere was perfect, the martinis were out of this world, and the food was scrumptious! Plenty of friendly staff meant service was great. A must-do place while in Baton Rouge!!

Chris was my server. She did an exceptional job. Food was delicious. Great local place with some great seafood. This was one of my favorite places I have eaten at in BR and the price is reasonable.
