You must first know parking here is an absolute nightmare and we actually parked down the street and walked to Parrains. Get inside and our table of 2 is seated immediately. If you're not comfortable with a noisy atmosphere you won't be comfortable here, well lit and our server was polite and attentive. We were looking for something healthy (it's... More

I have eaten here several times, and enjoyed each visit. The seafood is delicious and fresh, the prices are reasonable, and the service is very good. This is a relaxing place to eat with a group or with one other person. Maybe a little noisy to be 'intimate' but not bad. I've tried their fare grilled, fried, and baked, and... More

The food is always great! I love the pan fried, andouille encrusted fish and the pan fried pork chop lunch special. However, the wait can be long and parking is sometimes an issue.

Don't miss out on some of the best food and service in the South! I highlighted the Pappy Van Winkle bourbon but if your not a bourbon drinker you'll have to look that up. It was beyond nice that they had a bottle. NOW.. the food was amazing I had the BBQ drum and dirty rice but I started it... More

Service was good. My Po Boy was good. But my friend was first serve dr. Pepper in a dirty glass. Then her shrimp were under cooked. Then they burnt them. He kind of put a damper on their Super Bowl afternoon.

We went there a today. The food was absolutely delicious! The waitress was very observant and friendly. The atmosphere was a great, sitting outside on the porch it real depiction of rural Louisiana. Loved everything about it!

The Mahi Mahi was delicious. My husband said the same for the fried oysters. Service a little slow, but the waitress was pleasant.

The food at Parrain's has always been good, but don't get the fried alligator or the seafood gumbo. Both were fishy tasting and the gumbo had small pieces of crab shells that just about broke my teeth. The raw oysters tasted very good, but had grit in them. The main course were just good, but as always at least the... More
