Oysters were very good especially the charbroiled ones. Alligator and clams were also cooked exactly right. Price was right as well.

I'm a local and my husband and I stop by Salvo's about twice per month. He typically orders the seafood combo of fried shrimp and fried oysters. The portions of each are very generous and could easily be split between 2 people. I like to order a pound of the boiled shrimp. They are always spiced right and easy to... More

We tried a couple PoBoys and some onion rings. All was very good. Service a bit slow, but thinking it is a southern thing. Everywhere we went seemed to be on slow mode time!

Had great catfish. Best ever. They let us try the crawfish, never had before, a lot of work getting end result. People seemed to love them. It was all you can eat and customers were putting them away. Very popular spot.

Ate lunch here because they had Blue Crabs. Dense, tasty crabs that really hit the spot for this old Marylander. Great and attentive service. Old fashioned eatery with big tables, paper serving dishes and good quality food. A dozen crabs with all the bells, whistles and tip ran us $55.

Okay let me start by saying the seafood at this place is great, the charbroiled oysters are so so good. You won't be disappointed the all you can eat is a great deal but this place can get packed I suggest you get there early. Just everything about this place is worth trying! You'll be glad you did.

My family and I have visited NO on several occasions and know a lot of good places to eat. This trip we decided to see what new place we could come up with and as usual turned to Trip Advisor for the answer. Salvos is outside of the tourist area which is a nice change of pace but only about... More

We no longer live in the area but always make time to visit Salvo's when we are in town. They constantly have some of the best seafood po-boys in the area. They do not disappoint on their fried seafood.
