Snapper Sandy and All You Can Eat Catfish are my 2 favorites there. The unique appetizer bar is cool too. Love the idea of being able to serve yourself all you want. Eat by the lake if you can. it's pretty.

I’ve been to this place several times and have to say most of the time the food and service is really good. However, just when I’m ready to really think the world of this place, they disappoint me with either the food or service. It...More

We used to go to Tunks quite frequently- not so anymore. The ambiance is reminiscent of eating in a hunting or fishing lodge- dirty floors, outdated decor, tables too close together, and harried staff. The menu is great- lots of choices from fish to poultry....More

We have been to Tunks twice while visiting Louisianna and plan to go back this year. It is a hilarious little place. Fake stuffed alligators and cheesy mardi gras decorations will keep your eyes busy. The waitress we get is about 80 years old and...More

Setting on lake is nice but upstairs room is crowded, formica tables and noisy. Downstairs outside is better but then music from bar is quite loud. Food is okay, but not great.

Staff was very nice, although our trainee needs a lot of help. When asked her to compare the snapper and swordfish options her response was, "The swordfish looks so gross, yuck." That was later followed by a comment regarding the frog legs included in the...More
