Back to visit family....had to make another stop here....we have enjoyed this establishment since they were on the West Bank. Their food is so good and the gumbo is to die for....if you have not tried it with their great hush puppies...try them together.

I like everything about this place. The old building, the atmosphere, the service and most of all the food. I only get to Covington about once a year, but I always to try fit in a meal here. The Voodoo Rolls (crawfish) are my favorite....More

The food here was very good. They have the best Chargrilled Oysters I have ever had. The fish was grilled perfectly. Great atmosphere and service. I would have given 5 star but one thing they need to work on. The cream sauce is very bland...More

If you like salads get the grilled shrimp remoulade salad. Plenty of shrimp and abundance of greens and dressing. Also served with fried shrimp if you prefer. Ambiance reminds me of old New Orleans restaurant to the t with open kitchen and outside dinning room...More

Overall this is a good restaurant. The atmosphere is not conducive to conversation, but otherwise is comfortable. The food is good, but not not more than average. The service is great. All in all, we don't see a return visit to be in our future.

They always have fresh seafood. Steaks are excellent. Classic Louisiana seafood dishes. It hard to believe it is a chain. Nice bar scene.

This place has great food. Its a small place but you don't want to miss out on the food. I haven't had anything I didn't like. They can get busy so make sure you get there at an off time.

The best chargrilled oysters, daily specials also at good price. You have to have the bread pudding for dessert.

This restaurant is a hidden gem in Covington. The Voodoo rolls are amazing. I have tried most of the menu and have not been disappointed by anything. They do a great job with seafood and have excellent service.

It's pretty casual, not necessary to fancy up.
