We felt the menu was limited for such a prime foodie area, and thought the portions were a bit small for the price ratio, and we thought the tastes were different but not particularly special. the Charred Caesar, Crab-Brie soup, the Lamb Nachos, the Mirliton...More

Thank you for your recent visit to our Restaurant and your opinion. We do pride ourselves on providing our guest with the best Dining experience possible. Based on your review it sounds as if our waitstaff did not properly explain the dishes you ordered were...More

Dakota's is a little pricey but the food and service are very good. I ordered my filet mignon medium rare but it came back medium well. I would have sent it back but it was still delicious and tender. I believe Dakota's would have taken...More

I was taken there last night. Started out with a crab soup, followed with a grilled red snapper and finished with a cocoanut cake. Louisiana cooking at it best. The fish was fresh and cooked to perfection. It just melted iin your mouth.

They dont like kids. Not friendly. Food is good but if they dont like families with kids , say so. You get a feeling that they dont want you next time. So bye bye. Word is out

Friendly, attentive staff and excellent food. We came to eat but stayed longer than we would have, talking to the staff and enjoying their suggestions on specials, knowledge about wine, and attention to detail. Our meal was perfect. A very special meal indeed.

The food was good and the service was very friendly, but felt like they were rushing us out of there. The courses came out way too fast. We didn't have time to really enjoy the experience. Standout: Brie soup was a unique find on the...More

In a larger market, this would struggle. Solid, but not overwhelming. The Wellington was developed with a good concept, but execution was flawed. Undercooked pastry that was way too thick hurt the excellent cuts of mest inside.

We had the 25 year anniversary tasting menu. Wow, was that a great choice! The seafood beignets were outstanding. The oysters and spring roll very good. The trout and veal course were excellent. The matched wines were great. We're usually in the Covington area a...More
