Food was good...service was good. It is a little pricey, but we were stuffed when we left! Rotisserie chicken was great as well as the red beans and rice!

Had food brought to us since we were displaced by flood from "No-Name Storm of 2016." It was great!! Rotisserie Chicken and Breaux Bridge Shrimp & Pasta. Thank you to ZEA's!!

The twice crispy duck & Zea is a go to menu item for me. The brazen cabbage & sautéed spinach were tasty & a great compliment to the always juicy, delicious duck. Service was exceptional, as always.

The food was pretty good, not fabulous but not terrible. The rotisserie chicken was amazing! However the service was horrendous! If you can overlook terrible service then by all means this place has really good food!

Went for lunch and the place was not crowded since it was post-rush time. Wife got a rib-eye. Tough. I had to cut it for her. Roasted potatoes were far too salty. Asparagus was passable. I tasted all. My chicken sandwich had bread no better...More

We always stop in Lafayette on our way to Texas, hoping for a good Cajun meal. We found this place on TA, and although it isn't really a traditional Cajun restaurant, they do have some local cuisine. Great red bean dish, duck empanadas, and rotisserie...More

I have eaten here a couple of times with a friend. We split several appetizers as our meal. You won't be disappointed! The food is wonderful. My favorite thing is their grits. They are THE best.

Great food with specialty sauces. Be sure you have a current take out menu because of price differences. The serviced is good but a bit pricey. It can get crowded fast, so we get there early or order out early.

Atmosphere is good and the staff are very friendly. The corn grits were really good! - but my main entrée, cat fish, was very bland and over cooked. Being in the center of Cajun country I was expecting the food to have more flavor. I...More

Yes, we do rehearsal dinners all the time for 40 TO 60 people. Our back room is available Sunday through Thursday nights. Most rehearsal dinners we have occur on Thursday nights. I wish we could do them on Fridays as well... More

We may not take ourselves seriously, but we always take our food seriously. Generic is our mortal enemy.A truly American restaurant always has an opinion. At Zea, we state ours confidently, unapologetically and with a little swagger and laughter. Maybe it's our New Orleans roots, but we know good food. And our personalities are as bold as our menu items are flavorful. As with most lovable southerners, what you see is what you get at Zea. That simply tends to be a lot of extraordinary. Go ahead - try anything on the menu. And don't worry; you'll be hungry again in a few days, inspiring you to come back and try something new.
