We had read that the Fur and Feathers had won Hampshire Pub of the Year and decided to try it out. When my Husband booked the table he enquired if the menu catered for diabetics as three of the party of 4 are diabetic and usually have to leave without having a dessert as everything contains so much sugar. The... More

What a great pub. High quality real ales. Great food. Try the oven-baked Tunworth cheese. It's made just up the road. We go here every couple of months and also arranged my mother-in-law's wedding lunch here. Everyone was extremely pleased. It's a pity the local bus route has changed and I now have to drive.

Midweek evening meal, and wanted something light, the choice was limited so we settled on Tunworth cheese baked, to share. It left me with an ammonia type taste in my mouth for some hours, and the bread wasn't great. However great coffee. Not impressed enough to be back soon !

I have been using this pub for about 20 years and thought about time I gave a little review, this pub has changed hands a few times since my first use but serves lovely food and great beer, the local Tunworth cheese is a must, if you are to book weekends need to be booked in advance.

Booked for Sunday lunch to celebrate my birthday with my mum, brother and best friend. Have dined here before and had a great meal, but this time I found the experience average at best. The roast potatoes were bullet hard. We politely complained and were asked to count up how many potatoes were hard.. We then received about five minutes... More

met a friend as half way between our homes. What a lovely surprise to walk in at 12 o'clock and the pub buzzing with people all having a drink. Several tables occupied with lunchers as well. I ordered an omelet with sweet potato chips and my friend ordered the caramelised onion and goat's cheese tart. It was good! Really good!... More

We visited for lunch on Sunday. We do not live locally, but met family there who do. We had a fantastic time. Lovely atmosphere with a cosy fire. The food was exceptional - I had the sweet potato and butternut squash risotto which was divine, the best risotto I've eaten! The other family members all had something different and all... More

This pub was used on the way home from a climbing trip for 3 mates. From the first call to see if they where open and serving, to the warm greeting, and paying the bill at the end- Fran, Sophie and Rachel where excellent. Food and service was great.

We stopped her for lunch what a lovely welcoming establishment. Landlady was so attentive, it has a good selection of drinks and they are happy to accomodate your needs. Menu was fairly limited for a village pub but food was excellant. Definately worth a visit, we will definlately go back soon.

An individual, independent family owned and run free house.
Daily changing menu cooked with local ingredients when available. We are able to source world award winning cheese, lamb, eggs and game when in season from our village.
We have four real ale pumps and sell at least two local ales at all times alongside Sharp's Doom Bar. We have a large wine list, many served by the glass and an extensive Gin & Whisky offering.
The building is Victorian with huge windows and high ceilings and heated by two log burners throughout winter, for the summer we have a large garden with patio area seating with our resident chickens for entertainment.
