Stayed in the area before flying out tomorrow and my wife couldn't leave without beignets. I didn't want to go all the way down town so we settled on this location. We were IMPRESSED!

personally I do not care for their coffee and beignets. Coffee does not taste like coffee & chicory and unless you request "freshly cooked" you get beignets served from a pan that have been cooked prior to your order... this is a "not" for me

So excited to discover another Cafe Du Monde. The Mandeville location does it right. The beignet's are exactly comparable to the one's served in the Quarter of New Orleans. So was the coffee. I had 2 cups original with chicory and dark roast without chicory. Both cups were as anticipated. Good strong Louisiana coffee. mmmmm. Access and parking are easy.... More

The cafe is every bit as good as its sister in the French market of New Orleans. The cafe au lait was piping hot and smooth, and the light, confectioner's-sugar dusted beignets were heavenly.

My family loves to go have coffee & beignets and visit. These are the real authentic New Orleans beignets if loaded up with powered sugar. The cafe au lait is fabulous but it's gotten really pricy🙁 Still...it's a place for conversation & visiting or a late night yummy get together.

Almost as good as the original in the Quarter. If you can't get downtown, enjoy the yummies here. My tip, large cafe au lait in a to go cup. More bang for your buck and you will want to take it to go. 1 order of donuts is enough for one person, unless 2 will share 3.

This is a must do when visiting New Orleans. Beignets and Cafe Au Lait is beyond description. Wonderful hot pastry covered in powder sugar melts in your mouth.

We were the 1st customers at 6am. Watched the beignets being made fresh thru a glass window. Our beignets were so fresh, so hot! Cafe au lait was also good. The restaurant was clean, uncrowded, very relaxing compared to my visits to the NOLA location. Plenty of souvenir merchandise to buy.

After walking past the long lines for three days in a row, my wife and I decided to try them at 7:00 in the morning. No lines when we arrived and I must admit the beignets were outstanding, but they were overshadowed by the coffee. The best cafe au lait ever. As we were leaving three tour buses pulled in... More
