I am a local. This is a meeting place for all the morning local "town-talkers", so it's quite noisy in the morning. The breakfast is mediocre and greasy. Tourists come here for some minor Cajun atmosphere and as noted from the Dave Robicheaux detective book series. No breakfast menu; you wait in line to give your order and pay, then... More

Straight from the books about the detective and his life around New Iberia The food is great and the downtown fits the stories from the books

This is a nice place to come in, sit down, and have a nice breakfast to start your day. I don't get over to Victors as much as I'd like to. The ordering process is simple but takes some getting used to. I usually get two eggs with bacon, a biscuit, and potatos. A bit of a starch overload but... More

Wonderful service and the surrounding tells the history of new Iberia. The breakfast was made fresh and the omelets are made with fresh ingredients!

We finished our morning walk through the city and stopped to have breakfast. The food was hot made to order while you are walking through the line of food cooking as you wait on your meal. I had an egg white omelet with vegetables and a side of fresh friuts. My son had 4 pancakes bacon well done and juice.... More

Cool place - kind of old fashioned and definitely not fine dining. Had breakfast - wasn't to sure of the protocol but the ladies behind the counter were friendly and helped me out. The smothered potshots were the bomb.

We recently visited south Louisiana and enjoyed a meal at Victor's. It was our first time. It was like moving back in time to the mid-sixties. I'm sure the decor had not changed since then. The food was wonderful. We had fried shrimp and it was so fresh, flavorful and not greasy. The pecan pie was delish, too! Check it... More

We have been eating here for years. Breakfast and lunch are both great. Everything is home cooked and delicious. Very reasonably priced.

Just dropped in to New Iberia and understood this cafe was where James Lee Burke used to eat so went in to see it - even though we'd eaten and just had a drink the staff were so friendly and the atmosphere was great so would recommend eating there next time
