I stopped for lunch at Scott's Catfish and Seafood on my way to TX on Wednesday, April 12, 2017. I was looking for something local, and, hopefully, good. I got it! The food was just great! I had the catfish, with beans and cheese grits....More

Food was average and the restaurant has nice pictures and calming music, but service was slow and overall a little too expensive for what you get.

Had lunch while here on an interview. Not a fan of catfish but they helped change my mind and tastebuds.

Scotts Seafood Restsurant in Ruston, LA is where you will find one of the most savory and delicious GUMBO. One of the best I have had and if you can't decide what you want for lunch Monday through Friday they have an awesome Buffett line....More

I had a birthday lunch there with my husband and daughter. The staff was very friendly. The service was great and fairly quick. The price was decent. But, most of all the food was delicious. I plan to eat there again when I'm in town.

All of the food was excellent. Their catfish was great. Key Lime pie was also good. Two of my favorites that I do not like to cook. Staff was very efficient, friendly. Restaurant was clean and very cool (almost cold).

Thank you for your review. We should have our new salad bar ready within a few days. A fresh, cool garden salad with your USA catfish, Gulf shrimp, or our yummy chicken sounds like a well balanced meal. It is also a great addition to...More

Very friendly staff. Buffet was small, but food was excellent! You can also order from the board (menu written on a huge board attached to the wall). Some of the best fish and stuffed crab ever!

Thank you for your visit & review. Our buffet is small, but we serve quality USA catfish & seafood as well as a variety such as stuffed crab or fried chicken. It's not the size but the quality that we strive for.

Ordered shrimp po- boy and fried okra. The food was hot and very appealing. The bread was slightly tougher than I expected. There were lots of shrimp. The okra needed more salt. I expected a more seasoned meal. The staff was friendly. I thought the...More

I had the oyster and catfish, along with fries and slaw. I thought the oysters had no taste, and the catfish (small strips) were just barely average tasting. All of the fried food left an after-taste of old oil, and I belched all night long...More
