Growing up Best Buy always had the best boudin, nothing has changed today. Meats, boudin, Cajun specialties. Definitely worth the trip for special occasion supplies to everyday meals for the family. They are even kind enough to make sure boudin is packed properly for shipping so that a Cajun living in Nevada can have a surprise show up on my... More

I absolutely LOVE this place! It has-been a part of my family for as long as I can remember! My brother worked here almost 20 years ago and we have faithfully been customers since! Hands down BEST BOUDIN IN TOWN! None of these newer places can beat them!!!!!!!

Visiting from out-of-town - we always make a bee line to this place - good food, good prices, friendly staff, lots of parking. A must stop when in Lafayette or Scott.

My wife went in to order because she wanted to make sure it was done right. Well, let me tell you. Didn't happen. Aside from them messing up the order, that was the wettest boudin I ever ate. Taste wasn't bad, just wet. I ordered extra. Had to mix it with some more rice to absorb the moisture.

If you are a fan of Hoghead Cheese this is the best in Lafayette/Scott area. It's served in a foam bowl and cost about $6-7. Not much gelatin in this recipe and is moist and awesome with Club Crackers. A great snack when you are doing a BBQ. Oh and They are also my top Boudin too.

Tremendous selection of fresh and frozen traditional Louisiana Cajun meats at a very reasonable price. From smoked sausage to filet mignon, along with favorites like andouille, tasso and boudain, to hard to find items such as boneless rabbit backstrap, stuffed chickens, pork chops and beef roast, plus quail, turducken, alligator, boudain balls and a wide variety of Cajun spices and... Louisiana's best place for cracklins. I always stop here whenever I am passing this way. They are always busy.

Best Stop is the original boudin place in Scott, LA when Scott was not the boudin capitol of the world. Best Stop started as a grocery store that made boudin when Boudin wasn't cool. They really are still a grocery store which happens to sell some fantastic boudin, cracklin, andouille. and other Cajun foods which you will not find anywhere... More
