My wife and I had eaten here about a year ago, and found that the food was excellent. During a casino visit we decided to try it again, and we are glad that we did. She had the barbacoa tacos, and i had a new addition to the menu, a chili relleno prepared in a very different way. Egg batter... More

The restaurant has nice atmosphere and great for large parties. The food especially the guacamole that is made at the table is great. We had several dishes with different tacos and beef combinations. All the dishes were prepared well ad very tasty. The wait staff are always attentive to your wishes..

We stopped here one evening while driving through Shreveport. This place was upscale, delicious, and a great environment. Our whole family enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend.

We had a combo with tortilla soup which was good, the best part being the large piece of white meat chicken, very tender, and one beef taco al carbon. The grilled tortilla was a little scorched. The beef was tasty but a little tough and fatty. We also had a side of guacamole which was disappointing because it did not... More

This visit, I had the beef enchiladas, which come with refried or black beans and rice. My wife had the chicken enchiladas.

Food here is upper scale authentic Mexican and yummy. I personally like just the top shelf guacamole and the botanas appetizer all for meal. It's delicious and fills me up. Oh and I might add the jack and coke was good too. Good atmosphere to take clients.

Loved it, everything was fresh and delicious. Had the crab meat enchiladas and at first I was a little unsure but so glad I tried them. Absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this place. Service was outstanding considering we were a large party but he did very well. Prices are a little above average but so was the food and service. Coming... More

From San Antonio so my standards on Mexican food are very high. Queso (cheese sauce), salsa, and chips very good. Rice and beans were terrible (not authentic at all and funny taste), great service and atmosphere. Bill for two people was $41.00 that about sums it up. One thumb up. If your a visitor to the area, "El Potrillo" is... More

I suppose one should call this "upscale" Mexican. It was unlike any Mexican restaurant I have ever been in, and it came highly recommended. One review said the service was slow, and I agree to a point. It was not at all busy when I was there for lunch today, so I sat at the bar figuring the server was... More
