I came across the Wrygarth Inn with friends who had just moved into the area, we had the carvery for lunch and really enjoyed it. That was just over four weeks ago so when we were thinking of somewhere child friendly (my grandson is 8 months old) to take my 82 year old mother in law for her birthday and... More

I was invited along with hospital volunteers and Marie Curie for a free afternoon tea and cheque presentation. The owner has been fighting cancer and along with his wife, raising money for the people who are looking after him. I am a bit faddy with cleanliness of where I eat and the first thing I noticed was how clean it... More

My family and I went for meal on Saturday tea time. The restaurant was empty, but there were plenty of staff. The food was served different, my daughter and I had scampi which came first, then a dish came with chips to share and we were told to get our salad from the salad bar further down the pub. The... We were directed to this pub by a friend. Never heard of it before so gave it a go. Carvery was very nice, although we had to wait a while for things to be 'freshened up' before we could be served. Choice of 3 meats and lovely vegetable selection. Oh and big Yorkshire puddings! I was seated with a view... More

Family of five had the carvery, lovely food and lovely setting. Didn't understand why you could go up to get carvery when you wanted but minor inconvenience. Free crazy golf for kids was actually better than expected and good fun.

Thank you for your review, the reason we run the carvery as a restaurant service is so that we can keep our carvery as fresh as possible, also if a table has a meal other than carvery all are served at the same time, hope this helps best wishes Ray More

Called for lunch, three of us had the carvery which was £6.25 and excellent value, it was the first time I have been asked if there was enough meat and would I like more, also large or small Yorkshire puddings (of course large) all veg was fresh, my grandson had steak pie and he was well impressed, had the local...
