We stopped in Bangor on our way to Bar Harbor and found this little gem. The sandwiches were delicious and the owner was super friendly. He gave us some great ideas on places to visit along the way. Definitely worth a stop!

One of my favorite place in Maine to grab a sub or sandwich. The owner is polite, the atmosphere is inviting (nice to have Irish music playing throughout the shop. Deffenitly worth a visit if you haven't already.
If you are looking for a great sandwich for lunch, you should really try O'Donnell's! Their pastrami sandwich is awesome, and the homemade breads are worth buying by themselves. People are always greeted warmly, and the food is always satisfying.
