Amazing dinner tonight at Sadie’s! App special of seared tuna was excellent! The fresh fish and crisp veges and greens were perfect. Dinner was a seared scallop and mango with squash noodles, light and so much flavor. Perfect way to start Maine summer season!
Attended the wine dinner and it was executed very well. The 5 course meal was delicious and the wine selections great. Service, as always, is first class. Olivia did a great job with our party of 6. She was on top of our every request....We go very often and Sadies is a welcome addition to the local restaurant offerings. Great location.More
We've eaten at Sadie's a number of times, and have been very impressed with the food every time. Sharon (the chef) really puts her all into every meal, and you can tell. The food is terrific, and the flavors are wonderful. The service is friendly...and quick, and the atmosphere is is warm and welcoming. Sadie's is a gem!More
Sadie's has a great location, and if you get a table on the porch you overlook the lake, which is nice. We were given attention immediately after being seated and drinks came quickly, but the staff was not attentive after that. We tried to get...their attention a few times, but they seemed a little overwhelmed even though the place was not that full at the time. We got our food and it was not very exciting. The haddock was bland - salt and pepper helped. The eggplant was cut too thick, so it was tough and could have used more mozzarella -the sauce was boring. A little garlic or some other Italian seasonings would have made it better. Anyway, it's a little pricey for what you get and nothing to write home about.More
This is a favorite place for us.
The dining room looks out over beautiful Great Pond.
The food is made and served by a local family and their friends.
You are served fresh popovers automatically and they are wonderful.
When the little porch is filled...on a summer night it does tend to be a bit noisy, but there is an inside room also.
As they are only open Friday and Saturday you need to make reservations early because they fill up quickly.More
