We spent the night in Bethel on our travels and although not particularly hungry we decided on the Sudbury because it might be a bit more relaxing than a fast food restaurant. And so we shared a large bowl of PEI mussels Provencal followed by a salad and bowls of clam chowder. I was a bit hesitant about ordering the... More

I can't say enough about all the help I received planning a rehearsal dinner from Robin. Never having planned an event like this she was incredibly helpful. The evening of the event the hostess and wait staff took over and handled every aspect beautifully. The service was very professional and efficient and the food got rave reviews. I would highly... We felt as if our host was our waitress and our cook.... Place was empty and the food took quite a while. Burnt toast and raw potatoes..... The eggs were somehow perfect.....

We decided to give this a try as we heard there were new owners. The new bar area is nice but open to the freezing air every time the front door opens and all restaurant patrons pass by you if you are seated on the right side. The waiter was not very attentive or good. No rolls! The food is... More

We enjoyed sitting on the enclosed front porch area of the restaurant, which was warm and comfortable despite many panes of glass and a very cold, snowy night. The tables were quite close so we heard every word of our neighbors' dinnertime conversation, but the meals were good. We shared the delicious Lobster Artichoke Dip appetizer, and I ordered the... The rolls are amazing, we came back just for these. The service is always wonderful, the nicest wait staff you will ever meet! If you have a sweet tooth, you have to try the warmed homemade walnut pie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Worth the trip!

We eat here whenever we visit Sunday River, It is my favorite restaurant in the area. The food is excellent, they serve fresh warm puff pastry rolls, the fish and poultry were cooked perfectly. They have a large selection of local draft beer. For some it may be too pricey, at 20-22 dollars for some meals, but you can get... More

We went to the inn for dinner with a party of nine (to include three children). The hostess was warm and welcoming, ensured we had a table ample to meet all our guests, and took care to make my kids comfortable in the location. The food was good and all left satisfied. Would highly recommend to another family with young... More

We enjoyed eating in this restaurant. It was a quiet atmosphere with friendly service. The clam chowder was excellent. I had the lobster dinner which was delicious and only $23. In California I would never be able to find a Maine lobster dinner for that price! My husband had the prime rib which he thoroughly enjoyed. We are so happy... More

This place has two eating areas--a more formal dining room on the 1st floor and a Pub in the basement. We went to the pub which was very comfortable and warm. The staff was very friendly and provided good service. Thay had a great selection of beers on tap and a good comfort-food menu.
