Thought this would be a great place to shop and we were excited to visit as we prepared for our stay in Blue Hill. Although we are not big consumers of organic, it is hard to argue against the benefits and found the selection of healthy food to be top notch. Locally sourced and freshly prepared items were also readily... More

What a fab shop, we wished we were in a self catering house for our stay. By mid October there are not many lunch options in Blue Hill so we decided to come back for lunch after our drive further along the coast. We thoroughly enjoyed the soup which is help yourself but the sandwich options were disappointing and expensive.... More

Stopped for sandwiches on the way to Isle au Haut. Offerings were limited to premade and day old sandwiches, of which there were 4-5 choices. This was at the made to order price of $9 per sandwich. Whoa! Had we realized there were other options just down the road, we would have kept driving. The redeeming quality of these spendy... More

Everything about this place is fantastic. If you are looking for something on the healthy side, this is the place to pick something up. Also serving as a natural/health food shop, this place is just awesome!

Fresh organic market/eatery. Food was fresh, well prepared and priced appropriately for it being organic. Small inside sit down area. Had lunch here one day.

The Blue Hill Co-op is such a wonderful place to visit. You walk into the cafe and you are surrounded with beautiful home grown vegetables and homemade breads!! Everything looks delicious. I usually visit the Co-op on Fridays just for their vegan burrito and homemade soups.

Homemade, food, soups, sandwiches. Cute cafe to stop for breakfast or lunch or just a snack. Nice place to meet up with friends to sit and talk while you eat.

The café is an appendage to the food co-op, one of the oldest in the state of Maine (40+ years). Very basic fare here, diner-type breakfast food, lunch sandwiches, good coffee (but no sugar substitutes except for honey!). The portions are small to medium sized, but the prices are reasonable, and the coffee and tea is excellent. The space is... More

Great place to grab a sandwich or more. Also outstanding place to go instead of the supermarket! I live in Blue hill and shop there at least once a week.

They have many gluten free options in bake goods and salads. We took ours to go, but they have a pleasant spot to sit and eat as well. Delicious and reasonably priced.
