After trying this place three weeks ago I thought I would stop in for lunch on their last day of seasonal operation. They would be closing that evening. I arrived for lunch and when I was at the gate entrance I was told NO JEANS. Regardless they were designer , still it wasn't posted and besides it was the last... More
The clubhouse is Open to the public ( I am not a member) during the season. Lunch was great- the facility is grand with exquisite details. The landscaping with autumn colors is beautiful.
The golf course was in excellent condition and the cottage was lovely in every way....the accomodations, landscaping, and Leslie and Geoff. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. Bill and Kay
Roasted Beet Salad: Missing a variety of beets, just purple. Heirloom tomatoes, not really, just your mediocre food service variety. Big Burrata but needed some sea salt. Dressing good, green mix great. A crouton of some type would have been a nice touch. Calamari. In my life I have had only TWO great calamari; fried squid. All else has been... More
First the meal- A well presented and very tasty lobster roll and corn chowder. Spouse had a turkey sandwich and same chowder, also very tasty. So absolutely no issues regarding the meal or the service. The marketing presentation was professional done and the handouts first rate. It needs to be noted that the project has local controversy and will go... More
As you drive up to the clubhouse you know you will experience something special. The brunch was in the formal dining room overlooking the golf course. what a lovely room especially when the fire is burning. The brunch is a buffet, but you can also choose things from the menu. Can't imagine anyone not having the buffet! The fruit display... More
From the entrance to the club house it is beautifully manicured with an abundance of flowers and immediately makes a lasting impression. The club house which has only been built in the last 2 years is spacious and elegant . Situated over looking the golf course with breath taking views. We sat outside on veranda for food and drinks in... More
You truly have to see it to believe it. From the moment you enter the front gates, you'll notice that not one thing hasn't been thoughtfully considered. You could move this clubhouse (and the golf course for that matter) anywhere in the country and it would be a "must visit" destination. The bar and open-air patio are....well, perfect. The staff... Imagine: you live in an endless and barren and windswept land of mediocre restaurants and "resorts" that are in actuality run down motels with a few amenities tacked on and a scattering of zombie staff, when, lost on country roads, you suddenly come across a world class golf resort and restaurant that has been teleported from Palm Beach or Monaco...
