From inquiring over the phone to securing reservations to the ticket booth check-in/purchase to the boat ride and onto the island, the whole experience was seamless and of course DELICIOUS! It was a pleasure hearing about the local lore prior to getting to Cabbage Island...and enjoying the sites and sounds before dining. We were happy that those of us with food allergies could be accommodated. All the staff are pleasant and easygoing and though busy, have time to chat! Thanks for a beautiful evening sunset on the way back to BBH also!More

The boat ride over to the island is awesome. Lots of history about the harbor and area. Clambake is good.

Excellent experience. Had a great time on this excursion with good friends. It started out with an hour long ride over to the island. The captain was knowledgeable about the beautiful area. Then the fun started on the island. Enjoyed fish chowder, 2 lobsters, corn,...potato, egg, steamers and an onion. So glad we did this trip. Everything was delicious and we had great service. If you are planning on being In Maine, I say go for it.More

Great trip; boat ride, etc. Staff Excellent! Food; well, a bit hit or miss. Seafood a little overcooked. Corn OK. Potato OK. Lobster cooked with the rubber bands Still On! Mainers must like rubber flavour!

Amazing! We had a beautiful ride out to the island. The whole process is very organized. The owners were very nice. The lobsters were the best I have ever had. If you are anywhere close to Boothbay Harbor this is the place you should eat....The price was fantastic.More

I highly recommend visiting Cabbage Island. We were lucky enough to wish Bennie Alice a Happy 100th on the last weekend of the season! This was our first time to Boothbay Harbor and this experience was a highlight 🦞 The Moore's are wonderful hosts and...talk with all the guests. We left with full bellies and lots of memories.More

All I can say is don’t miss this once in a lifetime clambake while visiting the area! We weren’t sure about the amount of people going on the boat with COVID but I have to say everyone was spaced out beautifully and everyone was required...to wear their mask the entire time while onboard around others on the boat and you felt very safe. The ride over to the island was awesome as they shared all the little tidbits of information about the things you are seeing around you. Then you arrive on the island and are greeted by this warm, welcoming family. The whole experience on the island, clambake and especially the family who runs it made you feel like one of their own family members. And then the almost 100 year old matriarch of the family who is ringing up sales in the gift shop was the added bonus of the day as she is adorable! She will be turning 100 on October 2 and shared all she has seen throughout her lifetime and about her family, the clambake, the island that you couldn’t help but feel like you were spending the day with your own family that day as that is just how comfortable this family made you feel! And the food was absolutely amazing and delicious! Even as we made our way over to the BBQ pit area they shared how they prepare everything and boy was that interesting as well and again everything scrumptiously delicious! And the dessert, blueberry crumb was out if this world. Just a wonderful day!More
