A gem!

Fun spot! Great food in a casual but elevated setting. Delicious gazpacho, farm fresh salad, a perfectly cooked burger and a great bottle of Lambrusco topped off a great evening at the Brooklin Inn.

Best Dining Option Around!

We've been to the Brooklin Inn several times for dinner this summer. The menu is creative and locally sourced, including local Maine beers and interesting wines to boot.If you are looking for outdoor dining, the Brooklin Inn is the place!

Can't wait to return!!

We booked three rooms at the Inn for two nights during the Eggemoggin Reach Regatta. I last stayed here in 2013 and was in awe of the transformation undertaken at the hands of the new owners. Dinner was delicious both nights and they are extremely...COVID careful without being oppressive. They leave a one day gap between room rentals so they have time to sanitize everything. Breakfast is lovely. The Inn itself is an old farmhouse that has been tastefully decorated to incorporate old and new. Beds are excellent and bathrooms very upscale. And they have air conditioning! Dinner is locally sourced and creative yet simple. Dining is out on the back lawn. There is a nice wine and beer menu. The innkeeper, Pi, could not be more gracious and helpful. It was such a treat to spend the weekend at this perfect Maine get-away. I'm already reserved for next year.More

Great location

The main house and cabins are rustic but the owner and location make this place worth it. If you're looking for TV's and microwaves forget it but if you're looking for solitude on the ocean it's a winner!

Outdoor Dining!

We took a weekend trip to the Blue Hill Peninsula and the highlight of our trip was dinner at The Brooklin Inn. We were there on a very busy night and the food and service couldn't have been better. We appreciated the pastoral setting, focus...on local ingredients, and friendly staff. We will be back!More

July re-opening of Brooklin Inn

We stayed here in Room 4 - nicely renovated last season we think - for the lead up to July 4th weekend. With Covid, there are new guidelines in place for staying and for dining. All thoughtful and sensible. Breakfast was superb - carry away...trays with the perfect scones to sit outside. If weather was bad, you can sit the the dining room porches with more than enough space between tables Dinner was also good - in the back and the weather was perfect - We had everything - and it was all good. Staff is super helpful and charming and we wish the owners and the team all the best for the summer and going forward.More

Run Far Away

The server (owner) was beyond rude, the burger extremely overcooked despite me asking for it to be medium rare and we waited almost 45-minutes for our bill even though there was only 1 other table. Overpriced, horrible food, terrible service. This was supposed to be...a relaxing night out. Ridiculous. I'll never go back.More

brunch was eehhh..ok

My husband and I went for brunch after visiting friends down in Portland area. So coming from the purple house to here. This place didn't even come close. bland farro dish was well tasteless. The eggs Benedict was ok, English muffins seemed rather dense and...sauce lacked seasoning. We will be back in the area in May. We might try dinner. I doubt it.More

Great meal, cozy location

I had the roasted bone-in fish, not on the menu now, but it was delicious. It was cooked just right, not dry, not squishy. There little tiny potatoes roasted with it that were quite tasty and nicely complemented the fish. For starters I had the...black ink calamari, quite a dramatic looking dish and tasty to boot. So glad to see the Brooklin Inn taken over by new, enthusiastic owners who appreciated fine dining and care about their customers.More
