My Tuesday lunch friend and I ate here yesterday, simply because we were too tired to look anywhere else. What a pleasant surprise. Nothin' fancy, but it was very nice - clean and attractive. I asked that the ingredients of a sub be made into a salad for me - no bread. I got a very generous serving of a... More

Stopped in to have lunch with my family. There were 6 of us and we all ordered different things. Everyone said the food was great. HUGE portions! The prices weren't bad either. It's a cute place and very clean. The service was great as well. Totally recommend!

Want the best sub you ever had in your life? Then eat one of theirs! My wife and I shared a large Dagwood, with added roast beef ($1 extra). All totaled it was $10 or $11 and was so big that my wife and I were both stuffed. The fresh ingredients and buns were delicious. The place is clean and... More

My wife gives it a 3, but I give it a 5. I like that kind of spot on a cute little street. The service was excellent and my sizzling chicken plus bacon was super. The bread was top notch (it could not have been better). My wife didn't like the (process) chicken.

I was here last year, shortly after the change in management from the mother-daughter who used to own it, and my experience was awful - the owner was working and took names with orders. I ordered two 12" Sir Dagwoods, and when the orders came up, the owner said the type of sub rather then the name. Incognito - okay.... More

Everytime I eat here, I'm more than satisfied! Fresh bread, and a wonderful staff. I highly recommend this awesome sub shop above ANY other in Calais.

Every time I visit this quaint little sub shop, I am greeted by the owners (mother and daughter) with a huge smile, and friendly service. The subs are always on daily made bread, fresh ingredients and a very clean restaurant. I suggest this place to people first! These are the best sandwiches around!

Nice little sub shop. Not too fancy, but very clean. The prices are about the same as it's competitors (ie subway, sandwich man). What sets it apart is the food, and friendly service.

Been eating here for years . Owners split off from The Sandwich Man . I've chosen to follow the Bordertown Subz folks. Sandwiches are made to order with fresh bread. Not Subway processed food fresh... but chewy, yeasty fresh. Toppings are plentiful and you never leave feeling hungry. My only regret each time I leave is that I didn't have... More
