Location is beautiful but the food is very average and the prices are very high. Much better options in the area. Had a lobster roll and it was a very small portion of lobster. Not worth the prices. Kind of felt like a tourist trap

We were staying at the Danforth in Portland, and we were told that this place had better Lobster Rolls than REDS EATS. Well, There was a line as long as the one at Red's. And the view of the Ocean from above the cliffs, sitting...More

Beautiful view but that it.The food is fair at best but the price is sky high. People must like it because they stand in line to get in the restaurant. I guess if you like mostly fried food and eating out of paper plates good...More

This is a very popular place to eat, right on the water. There was a long line but seemed to move quickly. Food was good. We ate outside at one of the picnic tables, but they do have limited indoor seating. I wish the table...More

Not our first visit here and hopefully not the last. Lots of picnic tables to eat outside that is lit even at night. Small inside area with ocean views. Of course lobster is the reason to go here and it is the best, freshest, right...More

Fresh lobster dinner. A little off the beaten path but well worth the drive. Be careful driving there as there are young children playing riding bicycles on narrow winding road in the neighborhood leading down to the coast. Once there just sit back and enjoy...More

This is one of my favorite places to visit and share with newcomers to Maine. The ocean view, sea air and taste of lobster and or clam chowder is everything to come back to.

The Lobster Shack came highly recommended to us and we weren't disappointed in any way. We dined here on a bright, sunny, warm day in mid September, and arrived just before the lunch rush. You queue up outside to order and then they call out...More

We came for the lobster and the view. The place is small, and has limited indoor seating. Too bad, as it was too cool for us to sit at one of the many picnic tables overlooking the ocean. There is a line to order your...More

While this little lobster shack has a great view, they steal your money by serving the smallest lobster roll ever. The price was the highest of our entire 5 day trip and half the size of others. Kids were running the place with poor service....More

Yes, I agree with the above answers. We arrived before noon and easily parked. It was a misty day. Parking is limited so it fills up early. It is free and if you wait, I think that it is worth it.
