Nice place, good food and excellent service, can't ask for much more. Veteran tribute ambiance in country store setting. Full menu and good portions. Definitely worth a stop at Barb's!

I grew up in Corinna from 50's-70's; I joined the Marines and never looked back; I, my son, and grandson were patrons of BVS in Jul 2016. It took forever to get our breakfast and was nothing special. It was very uncomfortable waiting; only one...other customer; no other patrons; we felt as if we were not wanted there. Ironically, I was probably more of a "Corinnian" than anyone in the building. I use to work for Mr. Bird (town manager) mowing cemeteries as a kid. Later I worked for the Woolen Mill, so I'm very proud of being from Corinna, until that breakfast. I'll stay in Colorado. If I visit again before I die, I will only drive through. I remember when Eddie and Bert Nelson owned that restaurant on the corner; they were very pleasant and the food was very tasty, especially their beans and yeast rolls. Good solid family food. Friendly service. Good quality and good prices. Consistent service and good specials.

The staff and owner are local. The cook does a good job providing breakfasts. They also have some lunch and dinners but we just go for the breakfast and can only report on that. We always enjoy our visit there.

This has become our stopping place when we travel north. The staff is friendly and attentive and the food is very. We were there Mother's Day morning and the place was packed. We knew there would be a wait. The staff was attentive with drinks...and kept us up on the status of our order. We were close to the kitchen and were impressed to see that each plate left the kitchen looking as good as the one before, even though the place was slammed.More

I had breakfast there and the portions were plentiful. The cheese omelette was probably 2 eggs and one slice of American cheese. It was ok, wish they used other cheese though. The raisin bread was a toasted on the grill thick slice and the hash...browns were ok. Coffee ok your standard. Nice server. Very average food. Nothing special but ok. Oh had 3 pieces of crispy bacon which was good.More
