44 North offers a great coffee selection, deep, rich and full of flavor. Be sure to take a bag home with you because you will miss it once you have left Deer Isle!
The local baristtas were really friendly and the coffee was great. The interent service was fast and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. Very homey and cosy.
Upscale and expensive, but a variety of coffees from which to choose. Nice scones and muffins, top quality, but run out fast.
When enjoying a visit to Deer Isle, do not overlook this little coffee roaster shop on the main st. Excellent coffee and pastries for your morning or any time of day!
It's midafternoon and the kids are enjoying ice cream, but all I wanted was a buttery smooth cup of coffee to savor. 44 North hit the spot. I especially enjoyed the artwork on display, Those who Tell the Truth.
Doggie friendly, super coffee, great location and the hub of town. Also teas and other stuff. very nice indoor seating
Am I in Maine? The people making the coffee were pretentious but more importantly the simple coffee was far too expensive .
Not a fan of this coffee house. Didn't really feel welcome there, seems like only locals are welcome here. The coffee was less than mediocre. I don't consider myself a coffee snob but just wasn't happy to dobusiness here.
sTopped in after lots of sight-seeing to be greeted by Barista Asia, with whom we got talking about oysters as much as coffee. (Tracked down Abby's Longcove Seacove oysters at ARagosta later that evening- beautifully plump AND delicious...those oysters!) coffee great too - that day,...their Columbian. Tried a couple of other batch brews at 44 North Main down in the harbor, which were actually perhaps preferable.More
