Small and casual and the kind of place we love to find... enjoyed great breakfast and chance to chat with regulars. Will definitely return any time we are camping in the area.

friendly cook and waitress, simple diner food, priced below usual tourist places because the locals eat here. one of the friendliest little cafes in Downeast Maine. Santa eats here when he is in town. Well a guy who looks like Santa, and worked in New York city, may be seated next to you and relate to you his life story... More

This place is pretty much a two woman show. Very small cafe with great omelettes but much to be desired pancakes. While we were there one of the regulars came in and helped with the dishes while he waited for his breakfast. We then proceeded to hear a good portion of his life's story which we enjoyed listening to and... More

We stopped here on recommendation of the cobscook campground personnel. They called it "Millie's" place. It's definitely a place where locals eat. Millie's waits tables and cooks. Great breakfast food!! Very comfortable. Feel free to get your own coffee. The locals do. :) The home fries were to die for!

This restaurant has an atmosphere unlike any other! In a good way! It's not city dining by any means but it is a wonderful experience. It's only open for breakfast and lunch and the food is diner-delicious. And the prices are great. You can get two breakfasts for under $10. It's a little restaurant with two two-tops and two six-tops.... More

The cafe doesn't look like a restaurant when driving by; however, make a point to stop in! The menu is extensive for breakfast and lunch, the food is tasty, and the people are friendly! And it is only a few minutes away from Cobscook State Park, another must visit place!

Cobscook Bay Cafe is an old-fashioned kind of cafe, the kind where the screen door swings and slams when someone enters. It's a local place, where farmers, retired guys and fishermen go in the morning and early afternoon. Have only been for breakfast, but they have a New England staple, fried muffins. The muffin is split and then grilled with... More

Imagine eating in your downeastern grandmas kitchen, well actually you don't have too. Cobscook Bay Cafe is exactly like that. Terrific home cooked food served by friendly motherly types at reasonable prices.

Great place to stop and eat. You feel like you are in your kitchen at home with friends. Nothing fancy, but fresh and homemade. Best stop on Rte 1 between Machias and Eastport.

This is my second review of the Cobscook Bay Cafe. I still love to go there, and their omelettes are still delicious; but in the interest of truth, the last time we went there, my husband ordered pancakes, and they were just awful, according to him. Recommend you get something else on the menu.
