The service was very good. I had clam cakes with red potato and sauteed vegetables. Both were cooked to perfection. Out waitress was efficient. The atmosphere was cheery. A great place to eat on our way to Acadia and the BEST restaurant out of 3...More

Nice, cozy pub with about a dozen craft beers on tap as well as the familiar favorites. I had the Salt & Pepper haddock for dinner. Served with sautéed veggies and garlic mashed potatoes, it really hit the spot.

Husband had Shepherds Pie which was filled with ground lamb and yummy- I had pork medallions cooked perfectly with mashed potatoes and an amazing veggie side dish of cooked carrots, beets and chard? Would go back.

What took us so long discover this place? As summer residents of Ellsworth, we knew Finn's was open on Main Street, but didn't try it until this summer. After our first visit, we've returned 5 times for lunch. The food has been consistently good, as...More

We have had quite a few meals at Finn's over the past few months and our experiences with the food and service have been consistently good! The prices are quite fair also. We highly recommend Finn's!

And the food is good too. We had a nice evening, dining late (after 9pm) off their pub menu. Our server was friendly and attentive and the bartender made some great suggestions from the whiskey list. The shepherds pie had a heavy gravy on top...More

A good place for a good 20 oz. Guinness draft plus a great meal. A Reuben sandwich with garlic mashed potatoes and an Ellsworth Grinder with chips made our day. Great staff with good service. Try the Guinness Chocolate Cake, it is delicious.

They don't take reservations but call 35 minutes before you plan to arrive and chances are excellent you'll have a table. I would call about an hour before and tell them you'll be calling in a half hour. Good choice for... More
