It was one on one time with one of my daughters. She chose to eat at the Freeport Café. I think our servers name was Celeste. It was a wicked cold night and we were there around 7pm. Part way through the meal we asked for cups with hot water (we wanted to wrap our hands around the warmth) Celeste... More

So glad I tried this breakfast spot! The portions are huge and the food is extremely tasty! I tried a biscuit with my breakfast and could only finish half. The service was prompt and accommodating. They even gave me my left over iced coffee to go! Next time, I'd like to bring several friends and try the cinnamon bun. I... More

Good atmosphere, great local menu. We enjoy this restaurant every time we go. We often take out-of-town guests here for local fare. Great service and excellent food. You won't be sorry you ate here.

We went for brunch here in the early afternoon the day after Christmas. The place was packed w/waiting line. The fellow in front of me said he was in a party of six so I should go to the front of the line because there were tables available for two. I did just that, and we were seated promptly. We... More

When in the US we love to go out for breakfast. We stayed at Winslow Memorial Park nearby for camping and got an advise for Freeport Cafe on this forum. It was perfect for us as we have got exactly the kind of hearty breakfast we like. Food was perfect. Service as well. We came twice and the long line... More

Have driven by for years and we finally stopped in. Very much what I expected. Good, basic diner-type food. Clearly popular with the locals. Would like to try breakfast some day.

A nice little spot for a basic, delicious, dinner. We arrived late after a long day of traveling and the hotel clerk sent us to the Cafe. There were several locals having dinner so we were confident the food was tasty with good value! Locals know their stuff!

Had breakfasts and dinners for 2 days and each meal was very good, plentiful and reasonably priced. The lobster omelet was to die for!

Went for breakfast, certainly seemed to be full of locals. The food was good, classic American breakfasts, nothing new or original but well priced. You must try their homemade raisin bread, super good. Only suggestion would be to improve ventilation, clothes smelled of breakfast for the rest of the morning.
