I have been her 4-5 times and have to say this is good place to eat. Good lobster, good chowder, good fish sandwich, good beers on tap... great view, very good service - fun decor!

Went mid-day for a late lunch and sat outside. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. The lobster stew and calamari were amazing! The homemade mac and cheese was disappointing as it was pretty dry. The lobster roll was also a little dry. The atmosphere was great. We sat outside and had great views. Everything is served on/in paper or... More

Estes is a short walk from the summer cottage we rent and I hit Estes every summer for a few key items. Number 1 on my list are the Maine (soft-shell) steamers. They do them to a turn - better than any other place I have been - and that keep me coming back. I also enjoy the clam chowder,... More

My wife and I went to Estes with another couple. We were celebrating someone's birthday. It's your basic no frills lobster restaurant which is fine but then prices should reflect this. Our bill was just under $100 and the food was mediocre at best. My paper plate was filled with a conglomerate of food that I had trouble identifying. The... More

The patio is the place to sit. Right on the beach, watching the sunset while you eat. Propane heaters and blankets available if you need them! Fresh Lobster cooked perfectly. Frequented by locals as well as tourlists.

Six of us went for lunch on a beautiful day. We were seated outside where the view is phenomenal. Our orders were taken rapidly, the food arrived in a timely manner. The fried food was acceptable but terribly bland. Onion rings were so-so. Sweet potato fries were greasy and tasted like they were frozen. The lobster roll was very good.... More

Stopped here for late lunch/early dinner one day after visiting Land's End on Bailey Island. The place was rather slow due to our odd hour I suspect, but the wait staff was great, and the food didn't take too long to come out, though I did feel it was kind of long considering there was only one other group in... Loved the food. They have other things besides lobster. But I have to say I loved the lobster best. The bar I am not as impressed with.

As long as you aren't expecting fine dining, this is the most perfect spot to enjoy a lobster (or twin lobsters, reasonably priced)! I always get the lobsters and steamers, with an appetizer of amazing onion rings. There's no free drinking water which I assume is due to the location of the restaurant, on a narrow peninsula surrounded by water.... More
