We stayed here in July. Extremely outdated, musty rooms and not great service. The breakfast we were told was a full hot breakfast but when we went down to eat it was just mini cereal boxes and a few stale pastries. I would never stay here again.

Seriously I have erotic dreams about the brunch buffet. And the dinner is to die for. I could eat it daily but I'd be broke and morbidly obese.

We had only breakfast there the morning we left and it was very good. Staff very helpful. We were on a road trip and looked up hotels that would not be but a few hours or less from the St John NB Ferry for the next day. This place was lovely, the reservations were made on our way up to... More

We saw the Lucerne Inn off the main highway to Bar Harbor. It is in need of a face lift, but the owners and all staff were friendly and very helpful. The current owners are new and are in the process of updating. We ate in the restaurant and had a wonderful meal! The room was comfortable and quiet.

We hosted out of state guests on a Sunday nite for dinner. A first visit for all. The service was friendly and good. But we were turned off immediately by the lack of ambiance entering the dining room. A bunch of tables set up in an ordinary hotel meeting room. Blah. Then we were seated at an aluminum table with... We went down as a family for the famous buffet breakfast on Fathers Day. The food was plentiful and with a great selection.

Dinner with out of town guests couldn't have been better. Nice wine list complimented dinner. The stuffed lobster was enjoyed by those who ordered it; the filet was cooked to perfection and we were all stuffed! Christine, our server was delightful. Chef Montes keeps making this restaurant a go to place. Can't wait to return!

Three adults and two children for Mother's Day Brunch today, The bill was $120. Not a problem if we had gotten what was advertised. Instead we got our entire meal completely COLD. The potatoes (home fries) were dried out, inedible ham, bacon that had clearly passed it's sell by date and runny scrambled eggs. The smoked salmon was fine, as... More

This is certainly a lovely spot for weddings and other celebrations or events. For many years, I've admired this restaurant for it's beauty and the setting, and finally decided to join the experience- based on high praise from previous guests. The bartender was very pleasant and the space was beautiful in a genteel way. I had only one dish, but... More
