We are four seniors on a road trip We have had great food, mediocre food and not so good food along the way. The meal we ate last night at this restaurant was fresh and excellent. Bangers and mash got the thumbs up from our...More
Interestingly enough I was also at Ryan's on July 8 when bad attitude bad Guinness was there. I enjoyed 3 perfectly poured pints of Guinness. They always pour a perfect pint allowing 1 minute and 19 seconds for it to settle between pours. This is...More
My husband and I recently stopped by here for a pint of Guinness. We were served a flat, bitter pint that was pretty terrible. We know a good pint of Guinness and this was not it! One should see creaminess all the way down, smoothness,...More
We enjoyed the Irish Guinness beef stew and Shepard 's Pie with our Guinness pints while sitting on the outside patio listening to great live music. Loved that they poured the Guinness with the authentic four leaf clover in the foam. Definitely check it out...More
Hands down the best Fish n' chips in the area. I am always looking. I managed to visit for a late lunch and was rewarded with a very nice bartender/server and an amazing piece of haddock. I will return.
It was raining and this pub was across from our hotel, plus we love Guinness beer. We were not disappointed. Ordered a house green salad and dinner special of Lobster Mac and Cheese to share. Delicious. Generous portions easily shared. Attentive wait staff, cozy atmosphere.
Just a great place to hang out and have some food and drinks. Ask the bartender to pour a Guinness topped with an artistic shamrock!
Within walking distance of shops and restaurants and right across the street from the Grand Hotel. Good selection of beer and good food too.
