The service was very good, the food was very good but pricey. The location was great...we had a table with a view.

The Kennebunks are blessed with outstanding restaurants, but Hurricane is a keystone establishment that the locals support week-in and week-out. Whether you desire a Cheer's type spot at their bar, a comfortable and cosy nook in their high back booths, or a window seat overlooking...More

We ate here on Monday night and there was not a seat to be had. They were so busy and certainly not expecting it. Our server was working very hard and she was terrific. I had salmon and my husband had short ribs. We absolutely...More

We bought one mediocre little lobster roll, one bowl (sorry, no cups available) of lobster chowder (tasty), one salad (superb) and one glass of iced tea at lunch (not dinner!!!) and the bill was around $60. The food nor ambiance was not that good. The...More

We just ate there for a small lunch and some drinks during the Prelude. We got lucky and were seated right away, which is a pleasant surprise. I only ordered the French Onion soup. Wow! It's a surprise to say the least. I thought our...More

Great food and very reasonable bottle wine prices! Service was top notch even though it was a packed Friday night!

Our B&B recommended Hurricane's so we went for our anniversary. Seems like they have two distinct areas, bar dining and fine dining. We had the fine dining. The fine dining area has views of the harbor. Service was solid throughout and our server did spend...More

Dinner, nice window table but very crowded when the dining room was full Stuffed lobster at $60 was "the worst." Stuffing nondescript and mushy, tail meat dry and lifeless As though it had been cooked in advance and so difficult to extract from the shell...More

Options are limited for an in town lunch in the off season but it is time to find another spot. This is fine - but prices are fairly steep for the quality of food. Would avoid the onion soup - somehow made creamy and with...More

Not sure. Every time my wife and I have gone it was for dinner and we did not see too many children. Young adults and teenagers yes, but not small children.

Dinner menu continuously changes. Market rate applies to some items. Best to check web site. Also, I would suggest an early dinner. The lunch menu is served until 3:30, and the portions are dinner sized and a great deal.
