We used to love the one in Cape Purpoise which sadly seems closed now - but Goose Rocks Dairy is phenomenal ! a homemade ice cream and some great friendly service. They have the best peppermint stick I've ever had. Portions are HUGE, be warned ! We order kiddie cones and always have some to keep. A treat !

This place is great. The ice cream is excellent... creamy, fresh, great flavors. Lots of interesting flavor combos. The portions are rediculously large... too much for use to finish. Took a while to get served so glad it wasn't jammin when we went. Also, on a minor point, the ice cream is served way too cold... it softens up, but... More

Even if it is out of the way it is worth the trip to Goose Rocks Dairy. When you visit the Kennebunks it is a must. The selection of flavors is great making the choice difficult. We've come to the area for the last five years and haven't had a bad dip yet, this year is the same. Great evening... More

Their ice cream is homemade, rich, and creamy. The sizes are also HUGE. I am 30 year old man who LOVES ice cream and I can barely finish a medium.

Best Ice Cream EVER! This is a wonderfully magical spot with the best churned heaven you've ever had. The portions are big and honestly - the child's portion is enough for even a die hard ice cream lover. This Ice Cream is soo good you can not eat to fast. Go... You will love it!

Wonderful flavor choices in a picturesque setting. During the off season they maintain very limited hours. Friday through Sunday evenings.

Wide variety of flavors, huge portions, friendly servers, no lines. What more could you want in an ice cream place?

They warned that the portion would be too much..nope :) not if you love ice cream lol. Got the medium waffle cone..it was huge..at least 3 large scoops. I wanted 2 flavors ..basic vanilla and chocolate but they only do that with medium or larger. Was about $4.50 but alot of ice cream and really delicious! I hear it gets... More

The sign is easy to miss but if you do, turn around! Incredible ice cream and a huge variety of flavors! Come hungry because a "small" cone could feed two! Mounded high and chock full of good stuff. Pretty spot set back off the road with comfy outdoor chairs and lovely gardens. Plenty of parking and spacious grounds to stroll... More
