May just be a learning curve with the new owners, but fried clams were overcooked, pot roast was just lukewarm. They also stopped serving the crackers and spread, now if you want bread it's $2, and it was stale and cold. Nice atmosphere but overpriced for what you get. It's too bad since there really are limited choices in the... More

I was in Kittery to do a bit of shopping on Superbowl Sunday & was surprised at the light traffic in the area. I decided to stop at Roberts for lunch, a place that's habitually packed with a 30 minute wait. But, this was not the case this visit. I was seated immediately at a table with a great water-view.... We stopped here on our way home from a weekend away in Ogunquit. It's hard to find a restaurant that's open this time of year so we were very happy to have stumbled upon this place. We were seated upstairs near a window. We had a nice view, and the atmosphere is very nice. Our waitress was extremely nice and... More

I went with a bunch of friends from Virginia to RMG ..we loved the clam chowder , lobster roll and fresh haddock .The local beer was fantastic! The staff was super friendly and smiling all the time. Will be sure to return in summer to try their raw bar.

Excellent service and whoever it was at the bar knows his/her job. Ordered lobster roll, fish and fries, onion rings, and clam chowder. The lobster was light and meaty with the right amount of mayo.

My husband and I both had fish and chips. Crisp fish. Average fries. Didn't try the lobster. There are so many good seafood restaurants in Maine. Nothing no wrong with this at all, just not wowed. Maybe other dishes would do that. Nice atmosphere. Very good staff. Would we go back? Maybe again in winter when other seafood restaurants are... More

There is so much to like about Robert's. The staff is genuinely welcoming. The facility is neat and clean. It's bright and nicely decorated. They support local farms and fishermen. They give back to the community and they support other local Kittery restaurants. The quality is good. It's just uninspired and flat tasting. I realize that taste is subjective and... More

We go frequently. Love the oyster or scallop roll. Fries are excellent. Used to have great cheese and cracker starter but they stopped that. Have a Moxie there!

My wife and I were traveling up the NH ME coast the other day and was looking for a very good local lunch. Robert's showed up and met all of our expectations. The location is quite beautiful. Even though it is on a very busy highway it is hard up against a wonderful looking estuary. While we were there we... More

My fiance and I were there last night. This restaurant is amazing. We loved the Brussels sprouts sauted with lemon juice and bits of blue cheese OMG delish!! My fiance got the Fresh Maine oysters which were very fresh and he said awesome! Baked haddock plate was amazing as well as the fisherman's platter. I have been to this area... More

Robert's opened in June 2006 with the same mission that it has today: to take a fresh spin on farm-to-table Maine cuisine. Sourcing local ingredients has always been a strong part of Maine culture, and we are passionate about taking these values to the next level with innovative dishes and modern ambience. So yes, we are renowned for our lobster, baked and fried seafood, steaks, burgers and local craft beer, but we also strive to include New American elements to our menu with seasonal, local ingredients. Over the years, Robert's has grown to become a Maine institution, celebrating the evolving culinary landscape of the state. Most importantly, we strive to serve locals and visitors with food that is fresh, mindful and delicious!
