Luiggi's has been serving pizza and subs in downtown Lewiston for decades. It is not fine dining, but if you are looking for an inexpensive working man's meal at a good price, this is the place.

Today was the second time I've been to Luiggi's. To say the least, I wasn't impressed with the food either trip and don't enjoy being treated rudely and overcharged. The first time, I got a small Rich Maggie sandwich. A co-worker had raved about the size of the sandwiches but what I go was a half a sub roll with... More

Every time I come to Maine, I see my 93 year old grandmother and then go to Luiggi's. The spaghetti portion is huge and the meatballs are the best in the country! I will come back every time I am here.

When reading some of the reviews, I had the impression this might be a quaint neighborhood place with red and white checked tablecloths.... Well, not so much. Think formica and linoleum. Nothing fancy, by any means, but clean and neat. Looks like the bulk of their business is carry-out. In fact, I think you can carry it next door to... More

I love the Fergie and so does the entire family ! Another must have is the spaghetti calzone with meatballs which is out of this world! No matter how hard you try, you simply cannot duplicate the Fergie, many have tried ! Recently rehabbed, the restaurant looses some of its charm with out the murals on the walls. Staff are... More

As wonderful as I remembered! The spaghetti is to die for! With meatballs & sausages, excellent! Their Furgies are made with fresh meat & vegetables! Great meal at a great price. With a large newly remodeled dinning room.

Luiggi's was a hang out for high school's in the in the area. Not much has changed in the past 50+ years, not so much a hang out anymore, pretty much the same décor, same food, I still frequent about once a month for spaghetti. My nostalgic trip to the past. Worth a try when in the area.

Good food for a fair price. Spaghetti dinner special is great when you don't have a lot of time but want to feed your family. The bread is great. Lots of flavor in the spaghetti sauce.

We have friends visit from out of state all the time, and it has become a tradition for all of us to go to Luiggi's. Spaghetti and meatballs are the best, but the meatball sub, and "fergy's" are good too. My husband likes the steak and cheese, and my friend loves the eggplant. Great place for an inexpensive dinner. Great... More

It's a kitschy big rectangular room with plastic-topped tables and nuagahyde booths, Italian beach scenes painted on the walls, and motherly waitresses of all ages. It would all be so retro-chic, except that it has clearly been this way since 1952. They got all the standard Italian pizza and pasta stuff, along with subs of various stripes. But the big... More
