We ate dinner here on Mother's Day and the food was good, but not great. We had the lobster roll and it was ok, but a little light on the lobster, more bun and not enough lobster. The clam chowder was very good, but I did have a shell in mine and almost cracked my tooth on it. This can... More

Char-grilled scallops so good this spring, just like last year, and the year before, and the grilled veggies are a bonus! ...Great view even a blustery day. Friendly, courteous service even with a crowd just off the ferry.

Very friendly, casual place. Enjoyed the lobster dinner, though early in the season! The owner was most helpful and informative regarding the area.

We had a great lobster roll with fries and coleslaw for a great price. The sun was setting and the wood stove was glowing. We liked it so we returned .

This is our go-to seafood shack when we're with kids, who can amuse themselves at near-by Lincolnville Beach while we wait for the food or have a grown-up chat after the meal. There are tables inside and outside and in the sun or shade, as one prefers. We tend to favor coming here when the weather allows us to sit... More

Plain and simple decor and tables but we had a window seat overlooking the bay, and great lobsters straight out the tank and cooked fresh. Coleslaw and fries were good too. There was a range of sodas, wines and beers available. Other menu options included clams, scallops and haddock. They also do takeaways. Staff were very friendly. Very happy with... More

Ok.. So if fried clams are an annual event for you, or perhaps semi-annual and you happen to be lucky enough to live near or have access to the New England seacoast wouldn't you want the best clams ever? Well traveling to Camden/Rockport we stopped into McLaughlin's. Unimpressed. Overpriced; Portion size average. Tarter sauce mediocre. So what makes the perfect... More

We've been eating fresh lobster and seafood in Maine for 3 days. This was by far the worst meal. Mussels were tough, Lobster was okay, fish chowder was watery and the fried seafood platter was bland. In fairness, we are used to lightly breaded, seasoned flavors of coastal Carolinas and Florida where the fried seafood is wonderful. Still, this was... More

We stopped by for a light lunch. We shared a clam dinner. The clams were perfectly cooked and very tasty. The tables behind the restaurant offered a great view and a nice breeze. Wine and beer are also available. Moose Tracks ice cream was a great dessert. We'll be back next year.

We have eaten twice at McLaughlins Lobster restaurant in Lincolnville, Maine. We enjoy eating outside whenever we can, and this is the place to do it. The restaurant is right on the water. Casual dining, but great food. You place your order inside the building and then find a picnic table outside. People watching and bird watching is great! The... More
