Very good lobster shack located in the park next to the bridge at Deer Island. There are picnic tables down by the water. Nice variety of seafood and non-seafood options, plus milkshakes and ice cream. They have daily specials as well. We had the mussels...and the BLT-- both were very good, as was the coleslaw that came with the sandwich. The lettuce and the tomato on the BLT were very fresh, and the bacon was generous and crispy.More

Lobster BLT on ciabatta toasted roll with large chunks of lobster, thick slices of Canadian bacon, tomatoes and lettuce-mhhh! Very hearty New England clam chowder. Dessert was warmed apple crisp with pumpkin spice ice cream. Scrumptious supper while sitting at a picnic table along the...water right by Deer Isle Suspension bridge.More

Delicious (though pricey) lobster rolls right by the Deer Isle bridge. The staff are friendly and the location is beautiful!

I almost don't want to tell people how great this place is but that's not fair. Hands down the BEST lobster roll we had all week in Stonington/Deer Isle. Lots of lobster meat with a teeny bit of mayo on a toasted buttery bun..YUMMY!! Really...nice grounds with picnic tables and a boat dock. At low tide you can actually walk UNDER the bridge and look for cool stuff like sea glass. Also a great place for a 3 year old grandson to wade in ocean and chuck rocks...one of his favorite things lol. Also, according to my husband, it had the cleanest porta potty he ever used. We loved it here.More

We took the scenic route out of Bar Harbor and drove through Blue Hill and Deer Island. At the advice from other reviews, we gave this shack a shot. Wow - it was worth the stop! Lobster dinner (steamed to order with a mini woopie...pie) and the crab roll were great! The picnic tables and waterfront view make this lobster pound a perfect stop!More

With his new dock, LDI is a easy stop for boaters looking for an easy lunch stop on Eggemoggin Reach. Eat at their picnic tables, or take back to the boat. The lobster rolls and steamers were great.

We were visiting friends in Deer Isle and they took us to LDI Lobster today. What a great stop!! First the lobster rolls were fabulous with lots of meat. I also had the chowder which was excellent. The others were in the mood for a...hamburger which were large and juicy. My wife’s burger was a bit under cooked, and they happily remade it. We hope to go back again. The setting was outside across the bridge. They had nice picnic tables and umbrellas. They also had crab cakes, that day as well as crab rolls plus a vegan burger. Please go, you will not be disappointed.More
