We had a table where we could watch the river. The menu was extensive. We tried a special appetizer of New Brunswick shrimp with lime and Thai chili sauce that was very good. The hostess and the server were very knowledgeable.
Went to Helen's for family dinner. Atmosphere was welcoming. The price for amount and quality of food is ridiculously insane. A bowl of fish chowder was mainly potatoes... I think the fish swam off... Then dessert was even better 1 slice of "fresh blueberry pie"...More

There is not much in Machias, however this restaurant is worth the trip! Ordered the fish dinner, everything was good. I did not have room for the pie that is the reason everyone goes there, that will be my next trip. Good service!
