Ate lunch here while touring lobster shacks in Maine. There is both outside and inside dining; we ate on the deck overlooking a beautiful harbor. We watched lobster boats and tour boats come and go while we ate. I had steamed mussels and a crab...More

Great lobster wharf with full bar and excellent range of seafood. Raw bar and occasional live music in the evening. The crab cakes and haddock sandwiches were outstanding.

Food was very very good. Fresh Lobsters, Raw Oysters, and great Long Island Ice Tea' which a lot of bartenders don't know how to make. It was perfect also to watching the lobster boats come in with their catch of the day

I have been to Shaw's for years but am finally getting around to writing a review. This is a lobster in the rough type of place. I always dine on the deck for amazing harbor views. Picnic tables outside and tables inside. I have never...More

My favorite way to experience Shaw's is immediately after disembarking from the Monhegan or Puffin cruises on the Hardy Boat that moors nearby. Sure it's a tourist trap, your fellow guests can be pushy, and the seagulls hover overhead, but you can't beat the view...More

A short pre-dinner visit to the downstairs bar that overlooks the harbor. Friendly bartender shucked a 1/2 dozen local delights, excellent, that and a little Kendall made for a pleasant, though foggy interlude.

The lobster rolls, lazy man's lobster, and grilled haddock sandwich are all excellent. Salads are so-so.

My husband and I went once by ourselves and once with our grandchildren during a recent visit to Maine. The selections are overwhelming and we found them delicious but a bit overpriced for a place that does not provide table service. Even when crowded (get...More

Shaws caters to tour groups and tourists going on boat tours. Mostly fried food( tastes like frozen) and overpriced, there are many, much better places to go on the pennisula. The service is also terrible - apathetic, they make you feel like they're doing you...More
