Possibly the best clam chowder I've ever had! As someone else posted, lobster roll is skimpy. Outdoor seating was nice. Even saw a seal on the rocks. Friendly place for kids

The panini were great. I had tell chicken salad and it was wonderful. The chef salad was good size wise but didn't have all the normal chef salad fixings like eggs, etc. The back deck seating was the best if you can get there. There are only 6 tables but they overlook the ocean. Beautiful view.

Love the chowder! Thick, rich and full of clams!! Wish they canned it so we could bring it back home with us!! Sandwiches are big! My husband had the roast beef, and he's picky with roast beef. Told me it was the best he had ever had! This place is small but you can take out too! You must try... More

So happy to have stumbled into Chowders in Perkins Cove today! A friend and I enjoyed the hot paninis and chowder on a patio overlooking the water. The clam chowder was one of the best I have had! The restaurant is casual and child friendly. You order and pay at the counter, take a seat and the waitstaff delivers your... More

I didn't want a fancy sit down restaurant in Perkins Cove. This place was perfect! I got a half sandwich & cup of chowder combo. There's a small deck with six tables right on the beach. Or you can take your lunch right onto the beach & relax in an Adirondack chair. Great food, very casual.

I read the good reviews and decided I would try one of their lobster rolls (my third one in 2 days of staying in Ogunquit). My lobster roll was $18 which was about the same or a couple dollars less than everwhere else. Although it tasted good there was hardly any lobster in it...also it did not come with anything... What could be better than choosing your favorite meat(8 varieties}, cheese (5), toppings (5), spreads(7) and 6 breads for a sandwich or panini? Endless combos!! We enjoyed a cup of clam filled chowder and half sandwiches for a very satisfying lunch. A small back deck overlooking Oarweed Cove completes the experience.

Went for quick toasted panini sandwich. It was delicious! Service was fast and friendly. Make sure to sit out back and watch the waves!

This time, after a nice walk along the Marginal Way, we revisited Chowder's. Last year I could not sample the chowder because it was too hot outside. This year was quite a bit cooler, so I decided to get their special of clam chowder and lobster roll. The chowder- all 12 ounces of it- was delicious with lots of sweet... More
