No visit to Maine would be complete with out dinner at the Ogunquit Lobster Pound. The fireplace in the middle of the room was perfect on a cool November evening. We had our choice of hard or soft shelled lobster and the waitress explained the difference. I had a two pound boiled lobster and my husband had the surf and... More

Have traveled to Ogunquit numerous times over the years and ALWAYS made a point to eat at The Ogunquit Lobster Pound. Just got back from a trip there and will be looking for a new favorite restaurant. The lobster was good, but the rest of the meal was not worth eating. Vegetables were cold, as were potatoes. Not appetizing or... More

My lobster cost $35 and it was a little over a pound. It was really loud in there and it gave me a headache.

Restaurant was closed during the week we were there, opening only on Friday for the Fall Festival in Ogunquit. We excitedly arrived on Friday for their opening and we were not disappointed! Since we'd been on a plain lobster binge all week friend and I choose the Lobster Alfredo on penne pasta. Once of the best meals I've ever had.... More

Lobster was expertly steamed! Lobster stew was yummy, but not a huge serving for the price. Sides are decent. My only complaint was the price seemed to be too much for what we received.

Been going here for a few years and for the first time, we were extremely disappointed. As a party of 8, some had lobster and others didn't. The server was rude and accused of of harassing her when our dishes all come out at different times. The owner/manager did nothing to make us feel appreciated as customers. Will not go... More

We have come here off and on for the last 30+ years and always enjoy it...atmosphere and food both very good, a relatively inexpensive option for our "Lobster Fix"...

Had two great dinners. Lobsters and steamers. Great service and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Lighting could be brighter.
