We ordered a large sanwhich and shared it--and it was plenty for 2. We got the beef pits with horseradish. It was about 12" for $13.It came on a sub roll with lettuce, tomato and horseradish. It was good, not great. The meat could have been seasoned a bit more though came in a sauce that made it very juicy.... More

I love the food here, it's probably the best sandwiches in Portland, hands down. They use the best ingredients and I have not had one sandwich there that I didn't like. The only con is the prices, which are really expensive. If you don't mind paying a lot for a sandwich I definitely recommend trying it, your taste buds will... More

I have been to this place 3 times. The first time (original owner) was quite good. Second time, pretty good. My last time was today. And it will be indeed my last time. We waited at least a half hour for our food, and when I got it, it was not hot. Room temperature and cold in parts. Also, they... More

For a taste of the south in Portland Maine head to PB&P food is great, flavors are authentic, interior is simple and casual like the food. Music adds a fun Cajun vibe, counter service is friendly and helpful. Good selection of micro brews and awesome shakes. Delicious casual food!

This is a good sandwich shop , but the food is good and the service is excellent. The set-up is almost like a fast-food style . The prices are a little high. I recommendable for travelers to Portland.

This place is so solid. Everything screams New Orleans if they could just black out the windows to not look out onto Forest ave. Every entree/sandwich is spot on and the fries kill. I was so tempted for a shake or desert at my lunch visit but I know I would have had to take a nap in my office... More

Some of the best sandwiches I've ever had!! A little pricey but well worth it, the fried chicken cutlet is my favorite but all of the others I've tried were excellent!

This place is amazing. I go back just to get the pulled pork sandwich. I got the fried pickles lastnight as well and those are some of the best I've had!

My wife, daughter, and I stopped at Po Boys for supper and were very glad we did. We had po Boys, rice & beans, fries, beer, etc. I had the fried oyster po boy with sweet potato fries and loved it. My wife had a side of rice & beans that was way too salty, but still very good flavor.... More
