The people at Foley's are making the closest thing to European baked goods anywhere around. For my birthday my husband brought in an obscure cake recipe from Bavaria. They were willing to give it a try and I was thrilled to know that there was a bakery that shared my love for heirloom pastries. These folks bake with heart!

Perfect place for informal meeting - over great coffee and pastries. The display case is full of tempting sweets and we were not disappointed. I'd go out of my way to return.

I came in on a Monday afternoon with some girlfriends for a quick pick me up. I tried the Apple Strudel which was Home made apple pie filling in puff pastry. It was absolutely delish, though would have been even better with whip cream. My friends enjoyed their desserts also. Glad We came in and tried it!

They only offer quiche for lunch (unless you want to eat cake😉) but there are several selections. We had the broccoli cheddar and chicken sausage quiches-both very good with authentic crusts (lard? Lard & butter??) Then we split a warm chocolate croissant for dessert and greedily licked the yummy filling off our fingers. We'll be sure to schedule our next... More

Whoopie pies to tarts to cakes - too many choices will require multiple visits to ensure they are all as amazing as the cookies and bars were this visit.

After having a birthday cake from Foley's I became a fan. There is a lot of competition for baked goods in Portland and each place has its own "thing". The location is really convenient, especially if you work in the surrounding office buildings. I love walking in and seeing the pastry staff quietly working on their individual tasks. They all... I checked this place out when i was waiting for the Christmas tree to be lit. Had a speciality coffee, was not hungry so didn't try any desserts. But will definitely come there to try them ;-)

A small but wonderful place for a light snack after walking through downtown Portland. Have visited more than once and will return next time we're in Portland. Recommended by Portlandians to us as a special place with excellent treats. They were making Gingerbread men which looked and smelled amazing.

We made an appointment with Foley's and twenty minutes before our appointment they cancel. So we call and reschedule. We are both very busy, as we are planning for our wedding. We arrange our schedules so that we can both meet with Foley's for our cake tasting. We arrive super excited to try a variety of deserts and they hand... More
