I arrived mid afternoon and most of the donut selection was gone (in fact, a sign on the door stated that they would close early if they ran out of donuts). I bought a maple and a sweet potato donut, both for my breakfast the next morning. Both donuts were delicious the next day. I should also mention they have... More

Well...I think you have to try this at least once, even if you aren't a big donut person because it is unique, fresh, and very tasty. There are so many flavors to try that even the diabetic in our group found something she could eat. The texture, flavor and quality was fantastic. Both kids and adults gave it two thumbs... More

great big potato based donut, many flavors from old fashion to sweet potato ginger, the coffee cake is great , after you eat them, you do not feel like you ate something fried as other donuts and are gluten free

Found this place on a google map when planning my trip to Portland. Turns out this place is a must go-to when in town. I went right at opening on a Tuesday and there was no line. Grabbed three donuts to taste and a cappuccino. Donuts are different. More of a cake than a fluffy light donut. But the vibrant... More

No wonder they were written up in the New York times. Go early. They sell out. Two locations, one by Portland Ice Arena and one on Exchange St. Coffee is good, OJ fresh squeezed, but doughnuts are magnificent. The strawberries in the strawberry donuts are like biting into one.

I'm not much of a donut person, but after hearing the rave reviews about the Holy Donut I had to check it out. I went in around 9 AM on a weekday morning and was pleased to see there was no line at all. I picked out half a dozen donuts and brought them back to our Airbnb to split... More

Creative and full of flavor potato donuts. My favorite is a mojito d9nut with a glaze and lime zest.

Delicious donuts that are quite filling and come in a variety of different and unusual types. The staff is quite friendly and helpful in suggesting their favorites or kinds that you may like.

This place is MUST when in Portland. The line may be out the door but it's worth it. I've had the dark chocolate sea salt, the lemon, the triple berry, etc. The list goes on and on. They are all delicious!

I have many friends who swear by this place and it is their favorite place to go for donuts. Not so for me. They make their donuts with potato flour instead of wheat flour and it is a good taste but not my favorite. As I said, many friends like it much better than other donuts, so it is a... More
