My friend who lives in the area had always wanted to try this restaurant so we did. The atmosphere is very pleasing and comfortable. We had to make reservations for early evening because it was booked up. We had a nice corner table with a view. The food was so good. The Bolognese was highly recommended on Trip Advisor so... More

This has always been my favorite place to eat when I am in Portland, but for some reason last night they missed the mark. I ordered the grilled rib eye and with kale and potatoes augratin. It is difficult to ruin steak but this was flacid and fatty with little to no seasoning. It was sliced already and placed on... More

We were a party of two and were more than pleasantly surprised at this restaurant. I had not heard of it before and it just happened to be across the street from where we were having cocktails. The food was amazing. We shared two apps of Soft Shell Crab and cheese board and both had the rib eye which was... More

Great take on Italian. Lamb and locally sourced pork Bolognese was exceptional. Wisconsin buttermilk blue cheese with in house made apricot mustard was a great starter. Service was excellent . Nice break from Maine seafood. Highly recommended.

WE asked for appetizers to take back to hotel room. They usually do not do take out but were very accommodating. The food was excellent and reasonably priced.

We had hoped to eat early at Central Provisions and went VERY early. After being told there was a 3 hour wait - but we could wait in the basement bar we left feeling defeated. As we walked out the back, we saw that Cinque Terre and Vingola was still not too crowded. Despite not having a reservation, we scored... More

Mostly Italian so I was disappointed because I was wanting Lobstah! However what I had was pretty good-my sister liked it better than me I believe.

This charming, unpretentious restaurant is almost too good to review. Everything on the menu was beyond perfect.. and the service was cheerful, attentive and helpful. We loved the wine list as well. Ordering from that excellent menu wa relatively simple..Those of us who ordered the specialty brussels sprouts were delighted with the crispy, tasty preparation, and many in the group... More

Cinque Terre is a delightful food experience. While I usually compare Italian restaurants based on the chicken parmigiana, the absence of that dish was overshadowed by the taste of the eggplant parmigiana. I would definitely recommend this place.
