This restaurant was recommended to us by another restaurant and we were very pleased. We were told that the Bloody Mary's were great here and indeed they were. Outstanding I would say with plenty of bite. Kudos to the bartender! Then the food-it was fresh...More

Being west coast oyster lovers, we were looking for an opportunity to sample east coast bivalves, fresh and raw. We'd had Pemaquids in Boston that were fabulous, but nothing Maine-local. I'd heard that the Old Port owner was passionate about oysters, so this seemed a...More

Great location, attractive surroundings if a bit noisy, adequate service. Crab dip had no discernible crab though it was tasty (very garlicky). Delicious fried calamari. Perfectly cooked salmon entree with vegetable risotto was tasty although we had some question about the freshness of the salmon...More

TO VIEW OUR CURRENT MENU, please visit our website. The Old Port Sea Grill, opened in the fall of 2002, is located in the heart of Portland's historic Old Port district. Our modern interior features a custom concrete bar, a large lounge area and a dining room that can accommodate up to 60 guests and features a 250 gallon salt water fish tank. Our seafood driven menu focuses on a variety of local and imported fresh fish and shellfish, with an emphasis on east coast cold water oysters and other raw bar offerings. We pair that with a food-friendly wine list, local craft-style beers on draft and an extensive cocktail program to make for an exciting dining experience.
