Very good. I was there for a party, so we just had drinks and appetizers, but they were very good. Bacon wrapped scallops (excellent!), Bruschetta (very good), crab, spanikopita, spring rolls, calamari and oysters on the half shell were among the offerings. The atmosphere is...More

We have had dinner at the Old Port Sea Grill twice in the last two months. One occasion was for a birthday dinner for four; the other occasion was dinner for two before a concert. On both occasions, the food (salads and main courses) was...More

We enjoyed our lunch here in the Old Port area. Food was excellent - especially the lobster roll. Service was above average. We've been to Portland many times and for some reason just hadn't been to this spot before. We'll surely be back now that...More

We had a graduation dinner on a Saturday night for 10 people. This restaurant was the only "nice" restaurant I found in the port area that would even take a reservation for 10! I made the reservation several months ago and was glad they would...More

After being disappointed at a restaurant across the street, we ventured into the Old Port Grille at 7:45 on Black Friday (without reservations) hoping (no, praying) to get some dinner. We had an extremely hungry 3 1/2 and 5 year old with us and couldn't...More

Old Port Sea Grill is a Legal Seafood's clone, situated to take advantage of the cruise ships crowds heading into the Old Port seeking seafood. The food is good, but it's a sterile atmosphere, and not representative of "funky" Portland.

Not the place for a quiet dinner and conversation. So much noise, it was impossible to hear the person across the table. As a starter we had some high priced mussels ... the portion was small and a lot of the shells were emply. First...More

This is a great place. It does get loud at the bar in the evenings as the local crowd loves this place and frequents the bar after work. The bar staff is the best and the service is outstanding. This place is upscale and has...More

It was our third visit to Old Port Sea Grill, a place we considered a good bet for our out of town visitors who want fried claims, lobster and more sophisticated seafood choices as well. Unfortunately, it has been our last visit to that restaurant....More

No, does not have outside tables, but if you can sit in the tables in front of the big windows, you feel as if you are outside!

Description
TO VIEW OUR CURRENT MENU, please visit our website. The Old Port Sea Grill, opened in the fall of 2002, is located in the heart of Portland's historic Old Port district. Our modern interior features a custom concrete bar, a large lounge area and a dining room that can accommodate up to 60 guests and features a 250 gallon salt water fish tank. Our seafood driven menu focuses on a variety of local and imported fresh fish and shellfish, with an emphasis on east coast cold water oysters and other raw bar offerings. We pair that with a food-friendly wine list, local craft-style beers on draft and an extensive cocktail program to make for an exciting dining experience.
