I have been to El Salvador and the food is amazing, fresh, delicious, and flavorful. I love Tu Casa because it is authentic. The atmosphere is not impressive or trying to be something its not, reminds me of El Salvador which I love. Don't expect to get your food fast, sit back and enjoy a refreshing horchata (a cinnamon Salvadorian... More

Vey small place, no atmosphere. Workers are from El Salvador, but they don't make an effort to shine. The pictures and descriptions of food is not what you get. I have been to El Salvador many times and visit small Salvadorean restaurants in many US cities. Most are much better.

Salvadoran food is fresh and flavorful. Tu Casa did not disappoint. There are three papusa options. I had the cheese w/herbs and my husband had meat and cheese. We could see them being made in the tiny kitchen...totally fresh...so satisfying and served with traditional vinegary slaw. Somehow we both managed to wolf down our entrees as well. Mine was a... Our second visit to Portland, ME featured lots of disappointments... but NOT TU CASA. This Salvadorian restaurant is a little out of the way but has really tasty, innovative and reasonably priced food. I had a veggie enchilada plate that was one of the best things that I have ever eaten... and I am old.... My young wife had a... More

The food is authentic and fresh. The service is always friendly! It's not a fine dining establishment, but the atmosphere really suits the food, so it's perfect! I recommend the flan for dessert, as a connoisseur of flan, I can say it's the best I've ever had 👍👍

The food is always good here. Very fresh tasting and cooked to order. It takes a little time as it's not a fast food place but is worth the wait. One of our family's favorite place to eat. The prices are very reasonable.

I love dining here, the food is so great. I have been several times and never been disappointed. Only thing is no alcoholic beverages, not a deal breaker for me when the food is this good.

My girlfriend and I went to this restaurant to try something new and we were not disappointed. The tamales were great and papusas were fantastic. My girlfriend enjoyed her burrito and my steak taquitos were good as well. The biggest surprise was the price, 24 dollars before tip. A great spot that definitely gives you bang for your buck. The... This place was recommended by a person while at a business fair nearby. I wasn't sure what to expect, I was just hungry. I will say I was thrilled with Tu Casa in every manner, the customer service was awesome, the food was extremely delicious authentic salvatorena, the restaurant itself was very cute and clean. I can't wait to try... More
